San Miguel’s favorite tour guide and Mexico expert Joseph Toone along with the enchanting Mask Museum’s proprietor and art historían Heidi Levasseur will be enhancing the already talented line up of storytellers at this month’s Shelter Skelter Storytelling Extravaganza at the Shelter Theater, Vicente Guerrero 4, Wednesday, March 20 at 3:00 pm.

According to producer and San Francisco comic Leslie Beam, “It’s not uncommon for us to get professional entertainers at Shelter Skelter but this is the first time we’ll have not one but two folks whose day job is to teach and entertain.

You’ll have to judge for yourselves if Joseph and Heidi bring on the learning in our context though.”

Why? Because native Texan Beam tells the Shelter Skelter performers never to let truth stand in the way of a good story. What she guarantees is that the eight or nine ten minute stories will divert, delight and entertain; and for some will inspire thoughts of, “I wonder if I could do that.” And perhaps you can.

150 peso tickets at Biblioteca gift shop and Shelter Theater web site.
