AMLO promises to reduce insecurity levels in six months

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) announced at his morning conference from Veracruz, that in six months his administration will reduce the levels of violence and insecurity in Mexico.

The 65-year-old Tabasco politician made it clear that he will not take a step back against corruption, violence and insecurity that prevails in the country.

AMLO said that it will take a while to reduce the violence in Mexico, but that in six months the situation will be improving a lot in terms of security; as Mexico is currently suffering the most violent beginning of the year in its recent history.

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) attributed the excessive violence in Mexico to the governments of Enrique Peña Nieto and Felipe Calderón.

  1. Strengthening of social programs
  2. National Guard
  3. Zero corruption in governments
