On March 30 and 31 the conclave of the democrats in Mexico was held in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, this group of Americans living in México seek to increase the electoral participation of their nationals in order to defeat Trump in the upcoming elections.
In an interview, Reich said that Trump is going to conduct a “fear
campaign”.
“Fear is Trump’s main tactic and we Democrats need to campaign with the flag of hope, because it is more powerful than fear; It is very important that we give the public the idea that racism, xenophobia and intolerance go against the values of the United States”, Robert Reich said.
He described as absurd the threat of closing the border, since both countries exchange 1.5 billion goods per day. Economies depend on one another.
