Two days ago, a 13-year-old girl died after being shot as a “collateral victim” during a shooting at a taco stand on Conspiradores Boulevard, SMA.
According to official reports, around 1 AM on Sunday July 7, a man was killed at a taco stand on Bulevar Conspiradores, in SMA. 4 women ended up injured two of them fatally injured. Local authorities have called this “collateral damage”
Unidentified armed men in a white van arrived at the taco stand located next to the Red Cross subdelegation, and shot 22 year-old Everardo N., who died immediately.
But the blast of gunfire hit four women, one of them, Elena Ugalde a young woman who died on the spot.
Three other wounded people were transferred to a hospital where they received medical attention.
Thirteen year old Ximena Morales who was eating tacos with her mother, died from gunshot wounds.
The municipal officials condemned the events, insisting that the corresponding authorities must find those responsible, since this fact is already added to a long list of murders in the city, which add up to 65 since January to date.
According to witnesses, the alleged perpetrators fled on board a red vehicle.
No arrests have been made so far in relation to this crime.
