AMPI seeks to reactivate the real estate market in the Historic Center of Querétaro

The Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) in Querétaro works with the municipal delegation of the Historic Center in order to identify how they can reactivate the real estate market in the Historic Center of this city.

The president of the association, Ivonne Gutiérrez, indicated that the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) will guide this project, to inform about the standards that must be met in the conservation of valuable historic buildings, monuments and spaces.

She also said that the delegation will identify the land uses of available homes, so real estate agents will not be able to trade properties that do not have the corresponding use of land, specifically for housing.

On the other hand, the local AMPI president said that in recent weeks the placement of housing has begun to reactivate, especially properties with value exceeding one million pesos.

However, she mentioned that there is not enough supply with prices below 600 thousand pesos.

“Hopefully, one way or another, Canadevi will take the appropriate measures – which I think is already being handled nationally, with Fovisste and other instances – to provide housing for all these people,”
Ivonne Gutiérrez said.

She concluded announcing that AMPI will sign a collaboration agreement with Infonavit in the state of Querétaro.
