Armed men fire gunshots at property in SMA’s Colonia Santa Cecilia
San Miguel de Allende Aug. 14, 2019. – Subjects on board a vehicle fired several gunshots at a house located on Genaro Sandi Street on Wednesday afternoon. The men allegedly responsible were spotted by local police and detained minutes later.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:30 pm in the aforementioned street, in Colonia Santa Cecilia, the men on board a white Volkswagen Jetta fired at least 10 shots at a house.
Several people who were in a nearby park ran to protect their children who were playing in the area.
Municipal Police immediatealy conducted a search operation and managed to detain the alleged perpetrators. The area was cordoned off while staff of the municipal police collected ballistic evidence.
