Traditional cooks exhibition to be held in San Miguel de Allende

For the first time, the Festival of Traditional Cooks of the State of Guanajuato will be held in San Miguel de Allende.

This first edition is thanks to the work of the Ministry of Culture in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism of the State of Guanajuato, Municipal DIF and the Tourist Council of San Miguel de Allende.

Similarly, they announced that this meeting seeks to rescue and promote the richness of traditional cuisine, as well as provide information on the archaeological sites of Guanajuato.

It is important to highlight that in the event that will take place on November 23rd, in the “El Cardo”parking lot, from 11:00 to 18:00 hours, there will be 11 chefs from San Miguel and 10 invited from other municipalities, offering a great diversity of dishes and drinks.

A wide variety of artisanal products from the region will also be available, featuring an exhibition of exclusively “Made in San Miguel” items, that will be for sale.

The organizers announced that admission to the event will be free, but attendees wil have to pay for food and drinks. Proceeds will be given to the cooks.
