The San Miguel de Allende Guanajuato Writers and Literature Festival, reaches its 15th edition in 2020. Its director, Armida Zepeda, invites reading lovers to enjoy a series of activities that take place from February 12 to 16 with the participation of writers from the United States, Canada and Mexico.

“This year, above all that moves us is this 15th anniversary celebration of a festival that has registered an exponential growth, that was born for the first time in 2006 and that from the beginning, has always been held in San Miguel de Allende.

Initially most of the writers came from the United States, but they later realized that the inclusion of Mexican writers was necessary and then, the Canadian community of San Miguel also joined in. ”

The 2020 program includes more than 80 literary creation workshops in English and Spanish.

In previous editions, more than 970 thousand people have attended the workshops.
