Guanajuato state government supports “A Day without Women”

This March 9th, an unprecedented demonstration in Mexico, A Day without Women, whose objective is to raise awareness of what they live in day to day.

Because of this event, several organizations, companies, state and municipal governments have shown empathy and respect for this initiative created by Mexican women.

What Guanajuato has to say with A Day Without Women 2020
The state government supports the freedom of expression and the right to demonstrate of the Guanajuato women.

Through social networks, the state governor said he instructed the cabinet to support women who decide not to show up to work on March 9th at any government agency.

The Guanajuato governor pointed out “Guanajuato joins the voices of women on: “A Day Without Us” and we will respect their freedom and their right to demonstrate.”
