No cases of coronavirus in SMA so far, municipal government takes preventive measures

SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE.- The Municipal Government informs the general population of the following preventive measures to safeguard the health of the people of San Miguel:

1. As of 8:00 am Sunday, March 15 and until further notice, all public events have been CANCELED: cultural, social and sports events organized by any government areas of the municipality, in open and / or closed spaces are canceled.
2. Starting at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday March 15 and until further notice, the public gyms administered by the municipality, as well as the COMUDE are closed.
3. All the population is advised to follow the sanitary and hygiene protocols, and stay at home as much as possible.

The State Health Secretariat reports that the suspected and under surveillance case of Coronavirus in San Miguel de Allende has been
discarded, the patient was found negative for coronavirus.

A continuous monitoring is being carried out, and people can follow it up on the web page opened by the Guanjuato State Government, at the moment the number of confirmed cases statewide is 2.
