Guanajuato became the first beachless destination in Mexico to receive the Secure Travel Seal issued by the World Travel and Tourism Council

The Safe Travel Seal recently received by Guanajuato opened the door for a national airline to increase its operations by 110% at the Bajío International Airport with the reopening of routes to Mexicali, Los Angeles and the O’Hare airport of Chicago. Similarly with national destinations to Cancun and Tijuana.

The company recalled that earlier this month, Guanajuato became the first beachless destination in Mexico to receive the Safe Travel Seal awarded by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC).

“Thanks to the fact that it has managed to comply and guarantee good sanitary practices through the Guanajuato Sano Distinctive, implemented by the Ministry of Tourism, which will provide the traveler with a safe stay in tourist destinations, once the reactivation traffic light indicates it’s time to get out of the house, ”says the airline in a statement.

The national company started operations in the state in 2006 and since then has transported more than 4.7 million passengers.

For this month, it will carry out 429 flights and offer 4,400 seats on its routes to and from Guanajuato.
