Vehicles coming into SMA from Queretaro and Celaya will be diverted

San Miguel de Allende.- Due to the construction works at the El Pípila overpass, the passage will be limited to vehicles coming from Celaya and Querétaro towards Dolores Hidalgo.

The actions will take place from 10:00 at night to 6:00 in the morning, Monday through Thursday, starting on Monday, September 7th, and until further notice. During these hours, there will be detours for light and heavy traffic at different points.

For private cars that go from Querétaro to Dolores Hidalgo, the alternative is to take the alternate route Bajada del Caracol – and Libramiento José Manuel Zavala. If they come from Celaya to Dolores, once they return in front of La Comer, they will be diverted to the Celaya exit towards Josefina Orozco street.

The heavy traffic coming down from Querétaro towards Dolores Hidalgo, will alternately deviate counterflow in front of La Comer towards the Celaya highway through the detour enabled behind the Plaza Alhóndiga, so that it exits again to the José Manuel Zavala bypass.

The maneuvers will be carried out during these hours precisely to affect the traffic flow as little as possible. The recommendation is to travel through this area only if it is strictly necessary, otherwise, it is recommended to use alternative routes to the work.

The advice to citizens is to drive with caution and respect the indications to avoid any mishap.
