San Miguel de Allende.- The SMA Municipal Tourist Council reports 51.6% hotel occupancy during the weekend.
Between Thursday October 15 and Sunday 18, that the restaurant and hotel sector was allowed to increase its capacity to 75%. In that sense, the Turibus (Tourist Tram) and balloon rides were reactivated.
Service providers must comply with the General Provisions of the Protocols for the Reopening of Economic Activities in the Municipality of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato; published in the Official Newspaper of the State Government on June 3 of the current year.
The local government invites the public to comply with sanitary measures, such as frequent hand washing, healthy distance, and the use of alcohol gel, in order to reinforce the containment of Covid-19, diners must wear the mask when getting to and from the restaurant; being inside the business premises it is also mandatory to wear the mask when getting up from the table, for example when going to the bathroom.
