San Miguel de Allende.- Civil Protection closed the terrace bar ‘The Blind Jaguar’ for exceeding the number of people allowed and not complying with the corresponding sanitary measures.

The 911 Emergency Call Center received the report indicating the facts; when they arrived at the place they were corroborated by the Civil Protection elements.

According to local authorities, the site is suitable to operate only as a restaurant bar and with a maximum of 50 people seated at a healthy distance, however, during the inspection 140 attendees were found inside the premises.

In addition, the tables set up for 8 people were occupied by groups of up to 15, so for this reason, the managers are informed for their eviction and closure of the property.

Inspectors proceeded to the temporary suspension of activities with closure stamps and the corresponding payment of a fine as established in the guidelines for the health contingency.
