San Miguel de Allende will acquire oxygen production equipment

San Miguel de Allende .- Mayor Luis Alberto Villarreal García pointed out that the administration began with the analysis and search for equipment for oxygen production, so that the municipality can carry out, free of charge, the filling of the tanks of those who need it today.

“We are still in the middle of a pandemic, and I do not think this is a bad investment, especially if with it we can provide this vital supply to those who are suffering from covid and other respiratory diseases,” said the municipal president.

He reiterated that he maintains constant meetings with the Governor of the State, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, as well as with the Secretary of Health and the authorities in the municipality to seek alternatives that allow facing the Covid-19 pandemic.

Likewise, he pointed out that “it is time to help the population that most needs it”, since, unfortunately, there are people who have abused and profited from tragedy and pain, because “on the issue of oxygen, in addition to being scarce, its cost has increased ”.

Finally, he emphasized that “precisely for this reason, to avoid tertiary workers and to really help people and regulate this service, we are looking for a way for the municipality itself to generate and provide oxygen to those who are in urgent need of it” .
