San Miguel de Allende .- Since December of last year, the company that manages the sanitary landfill filed a complaint against whoever is responsible for the fires that constantly take place there

The last fire was last week and mobilized agents of Civil Protection and Firefighters. In addition, since December 13 of last year, another similar incident was reported, the complaint of which was filed on December 23 with the Public Ministry and which was registered with file number 119349.

In this complaint, the legal representative of the company Wink Tec SA de CV indicates that due to the time and place where the incident began, it was not possible that it had started due to the magnifying glass effect or the expansion of gases, which makes conclude that it was deliberately provoked.

Likewise, it is specified that the fire causes risk for the people who work there, as well as a great deal of damage to the environment, risk for those who live in neighboring communities, and expenses for the company that manages the landfill.

It also causes the staff of Civil Protection and Firefighters to be in constant mobilization and regularly spend many hours of work in containing these types of incidents because they cover many hectares.

Faced with such a situation, the government asked the population not to approach when a fire occurs and to report anyone who is discovered causing it.
