Its services are aimed at all families who like elegance, luxury and comfort.

We spoke with Jaime Levy, CEO of JL Consulting, who spoke to us about the inspiration and opening process of the magnificent Hotel Mädi.

When was the hotel founded?

The hotel opened its doors in October 2020, in one of the most iconic cities in Mexico, San Miguel de Allende.

What does Mädi mean?

Mädi is a word in the Otomi language with a powerful meaning: LOVE.  It is a concept that encompasses the ideology and inspiration of a group of people who seek to make Hotel Mädi an inclusive and sophisticated space in a dream city like San Miguel de Allende.

Where did the inspiration for architecture and decoration come from?

With the works of the sculptor Alejandro Velasco the good taste of its architecture is rounded off.

The architectural, artistic and culinary elements that identify Hotel Mädi are part of a love story that we will pass on to our guests and visitors as part of a unique and unmatched experience of elegance, comfort and personalization.

What kind of food can we find in the restaurant?

Led by chef Elías Joaquín, the iconic restaurant is an invitation to diners to enjoy a combination of international cuisine, pre-Hispanic dishes and local culinary elements such as cheeses, burratas, organic vegetables, oil, wines and coffee made exclusively for the Hotel Mädi.

You cannot miss the King Crab Tostadas, the majestic Drowned Duck Cakes and the traditional Bridal Veil.

Inside the bar you can find a space designed for those who enjoy the taste of malt. Located a few steps from the lobby of the Hotel Mädi, the Whiskería offers a bar with the best whiskeys from countries such as Ireland, England, the United States and Japan, and imposes a relaxed, carefree and inspirational air.

What else can we find in the hotel?

For those who love to pamper themselves and relax, the hotel has a personalized spa that is characterized by freedom of choice according to the needs of the guests, an intimate concept that exalts good taste to enjoy the little details and great experiences as a couple.

Also, in the boutique hotel you will find a spectacular view from the  Roof Mädi,  which includes the monumental church of San Miguel Arcángel and the beautiful houses of the so-called jewel in the crown of colonial Mexico In this place, the majestic glass pool with double views, the restaurant and the terrace are key elements that give guests a cozy and relaxed feeling.

You can also enjoy food, drinks, cocktails and excellent service.
