León, Guanajuato (April 18, 2021).- The director of Tourism of León , Gloria Magaly Cano , commented that there are already some programs of local and regional tourist attraction to detonate the economy in the city, among them the ‘Vinopera’ event to detonate the gastronomic theme for the first time .
These are programs that will be carried out between the months of May and June, however, the disadvantage of these tourist attractions is that they are limited, because certain massive concentrations should not be promoted to avoid contagion of Covid-19, as was the case of the Spring Festival where there was not as much commerce as the citizens expected, but it is because there can be no crowds despite the fact that it was organized in a large space and outdoors.
For the month of June, the aim is to detonate shopping tourism through gastronomy, because the aim is to attract new tourism proposals and social groups that have not participated to enrich tourism in the city.
“In this gastronomy issue a group of filmmakers is being incorporated (…), fashion issues, which all at the end of the day pay to the issue of shopping tourism and the gastronomy of the city,” he explained.
