During the protest ceremony of the authorities for the City Council 2021-2024 headed by the PRI mayor Mauricio Trejo, the mayor promised that in one year the municipality of San Miguel de Allende will become the safest tourist destination in Mexico
“From today I tell you that this government will be an ally of the Secretary of Public Security and the State Attorney to make our municipality safer, as of today the people of San Miguel have a mayor fully committed to security,” said Trejo Pureco.
I advance that another of the actions that it will undertake will be to support the improvement in the national indicators in terms of security, to place San Miguel in the first place when it comes to security, so they will contribute to improving the ranking of the state.
“Citizens are the ones who have to talk about how great it is to live in San Miguel, they are the ones who must say that this is the best city to live in, not a travel magazine or a website”, Trejo continued.
“Security, social development and recovery of natural resources will be the axes to make San Miguel once again “La Joya de America” (the jewel of the Americas),” the mayor stated.
Finally, Mauricio Trejo recognized the support of the business sector throughout the state with whom he said he will be working hand in hand to improve the living conditions of all San Miguel residents.
