Among other meetings with operators and promoters, Luis Nava, Municipal President of Querétaro, met with Price Travel executives to develop tourism products to be disseminated on their platforms.

Within the framework of the Tianguis Turístico 2021 that takes place in Mérida, the head of the Secretariat of Tourism (SECTUR), Mariela Morán, signed a collaboration agreement with the Grupo Mundo Imperial hotel company that will support tourism in Querétaro.

Specifically, this agreement will have the purpose of exchanging promotional and training efforts for the entity’s tourism service providers. Likewise, establish a strategic alliance with the hotel company to jointly develop promotional and training agendas in customer service under the “Acapulco” model.

Grupo Mundo Imperial comprises a hotel complex in Acapulco that integrates brands such as Pierre Acapulco, Princess Acapulco and Palacio Mundo Imperial, which will host the Tianguis Turístico in 2022.

Other Querétaro alliances with tourism companies

Among other meetings with operators and promoters, Luis Nava, Municipal President of Querétaro, highlighted the meeting that, together with the state of Querétaro, they held with Price Travel executives to develop attractive tourism products to be disseminated on their different platforms.

Nava also promoted Querétaro as an attractive destination for romance tourism, for the celebration of weddings, visits to hotels, restaurants, vineyards, and other emblematic places.

“We have a lot of history, Querétaro is a World Cultural Heritage city and we have a lot to offer to those who like and enjoy history, baroque and colonial art. Querétaro is the city you should visit ”, added the mayor.

Finally, together with the mayor of Mérida, Renán Barrera Concha, Luis Nava signed a letter of intent to renew the twinning between the two cities, share experiences in cultural and gastronomic matters and thus strengthen the economies through tourism promotion.
