A fatal traffic accident left a balance of five dead and two injured on the San Miguel de Allende highway, near the El Carmen community.
On Friday, May 20th, around 6 in the afternoon, a report was received at the Emergency System indicating that an accident was registered on the San Miguel-Queretaro highway.
When the first Red Cross ambulances and private ambulances arrived, they confirmed that eight people were involved in the accident.
Two minors and two adults lost their lives at the scene, while two other minors were taken to a hospital, one of them seriously injured.
Two other adults were taken to a medical institution but one of them lost his life after arriving at the hospital.
The National Guard, agents of Civil Protection, Firefighters, and experts arrived in the area to determine responsibilities.
The bodies of the deceased were taken to SEMEFO to carry out the autopsy, it will be the State Prosecutor’s Office that determines the cause of the accident.
Hours later they indicated that one of the people who had been taken to the hospital had passed away due to the injuries he had.
