GUANAJUATO, MEXICO – Tesla is one of the leading brands in electrification. Currently, it has been announced that it plans to set up operations in Mexico.
According to information from the Ministry of Sustainable Economic Development (SDES), the doors remain open for this company in Guanajuato, for which there are already five suppliers installed in the state.
In an interview with the media, the minister of Economic Development, Ramón Alfaro, also pointed out that new companies are expected to arrive in the state, which will be mainly focused on electromobility.
Pass Automotive is one of Tesla’s supplier companies in Guanajuato, which in November 2022 began working on the project to produce auto parts for the transnational’s electric vehicles.
The German company has a plant in the Apolo Industrial Park in Irapuato, Guanajuato, where it generates more than 100 direct jobs to meet the needs of its North American automotive customer.
Stephan Matz, general manager of Pass Automotive Mexico, confirmed that they are also preparing a new production line to move towards electromobility.
