Morena says “No” to Mauricio Trejo

The secretary of the State Executive Committee of Morena affirmed that Morena does not need Mauricio Trejo to win the state governorship of Guanajuato.

San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.- “In Morena we don’t need Mauricio Trejo or anyone like him,” said Jesús Ramírez Garibay, general secretary of the State Executive Committee of Morena in Guanajuato, after being questioned about rumors that the mayor emanated from the PRI would go to Morena to contend for the governorship.

“Mauricio Trejo is still a PRI member and he will stay there. We don’t need him in Morena. If he is going to seek re-election, he will do so with the PRI, ” said Ramírez Garibay during his visit to San Miguel de Allende to start the brigades with which they seek to travel throughout the state.

Ramírez Garibay said: Trejo and Villareal are the same in the end, and PRI and PAN are the same. They represent the same thing in San Miguel de Allende. I say it loudly, let it be heard: we don’t need Mauricio Trejo to compete and win. We are going with our own Morena candidate.

Jesús Ramírez Garibay concluded by stating that in the next election, Morena will win San Miguel de Allende and a good number of municipalities along the Guanajuato industrial corridor.
