The L’Amore event in San Miguel de Allende brought together more than 20 service providers and 40 wedding planners from different latitudes.
The L’Amore gala brought together the guild of the romance industry to live an experience that included a catwalk, a cocktail, and dinner. The idea is to maintain the position of the city as the best destination for weddings.
Tania Castillo, director of tourism, explained that after receiving recognition a year ago as the best wedding destination, the idea is to maintain that position, which currently has a thousand weddings a year.
L ‘Amore was aimed at event planners and providers of the Romance Tourism Industry to create a networking opportunity that strengthens the industry and the ties between service providers, explained Castillo.
The catwalk presented the work of the Leonese designers Iván Marcos and David Gallegos (Iann Dey) who kept the attendees impressed. The two artists were greeted with a horde of applause after their presentation.
The L’Amore experience included a cocktail with the La Llamarada mezcalería and then a gala dinner served by the renowned Chef Rita Campos, all in a way of reproducing the events that actually happen at a wedding.
