The son of former Guerrero governor Héctor Astudillo dies in San Miguel de Allende

The police officers conducted procedural interviews and the informant indicated that the male injured himself in the head with a firearm; the other male who was in the place identified himself as the injured person’s bodyguard and stated that the firearm was in his charge.

The bodyguard, who identified himself as Ómar “N”, stated that the couple started arguing, so he stopped to calm them down and when he got off the vehicle, the man took the firearm, which was under the driver’s seat and shot himself.

Paramedics of the Red Cross arrived at the scene of the events and transferred the injured person to the General Hospital and the SSC notified the Guanajuato State Attorney General’s Office (FGEG), so that they could carry out the corresponding investigations.
