Adán Augusto López says he is under constant baseless attacks by political adversaries

Adán Augusto López Hernández is a Mexican politician affiliated with Morena. López Hernández served as the governor of Tabasco from 1 January 2019 to 26 August 2021, when he replaced Olga Sánchez Cordero as Secretary of the Interior. In June 2023 he officially resigned from his post to contend for the presidency.

Visiting the port of Veracruz, Adán Augusto López, a candidate for the presidential candidacy for Morena, said that he is not afraid of a dirty war, because “when a man has a clear conscience, the truth always comes out.”

He said that the current stage they are going through there are constant baseless attacks by political adversaries at all times.

On the other hand, he pointed out that regarding the subject of the survey to choose the candidate, it is possible that there will be “irregularities” during the Morena electoral exercise.
