BACKYARD BIRDING IN MERIDA, YUCATAN AND BEYOND – SUNNY FLOWERS ON A SUNLESS DAY WITH FEATHERS

Enjoy a few feathered friends among the sunflowers on a sunless day. Each species is a permanent resident of the Yucatan Peninsula and the United States except for the summer residing American Coot and Northern Harrier of the Yucatan Peninsula. Some are also winter visitors or others have a separate winter migratory population to the peninsula.
