The Guanajuato Prosecutor’s Office has managed to demonstrate with evidence the participation of the suspect Eulalio “N” in an attempted femicide and assault against his victim in San Miguel de Allende.
As a result, he has been linked to criminal proceedings and will remain in preventive detention while awaiting sentencing.
The events took place on February 22, 2022, at a home located in the Montecillo de la Milpa community, municipality of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.
Eulalio, who worked for the victim, arrived in the morning and deliberately hit the fence that surrounded the property with his vehicle, causing significant material damage.
Later, the attacker’s partner arrived at the scene screaming that he was trying to kill her. In an attempt to protect the woman who was asking for help, the owner of the property tried to call the police, but she was brutally hit in the face by Eulalio with a steel rod.
Observing the attack, other men intervened to prevent a tragedy, but they were also attacked by the accused. However, the witnesses managed to detain him until the authorities arrived.
Based on the evidence presented by the Public Ministry agent, Eulalio “N” has been linked to criminal proceedings and the precautionary measure of preventive detention has been imposed.
His sentence will be determined by the corresponding authorities in the State of Guanajuato.
