The state of Baja California has been nominated in six “Best of Mexico” award categories

  • Baja California received six nominations on the latest edition of the Best of Mexico 2024 awards, including “Most charming State on the road” and “Best Contemporary Gastronomic Event.”

BAJA CALIFORNIA.- Baja California has been nominated in six categories for the Best of Mexico 2024 awards. These nominations include “Best State to discover its charms on the road ” and “Best contemporary gastronomic event.” The state authorities call on the community to vote for Baja California in the different categories through the website:

The Secretary of Tourism of Baja California, Miguel Aguíñiga Rodríguez, said: “We are nominated for six categories in what is the best of Tourism in Mexico. These awards are presented within the framework of the Tianguis Turístico México in Acapulco this year, competing against great destinations. Baja California has an exceptional tourist offer, that is why I ask everyone’s support to vote for our six categories.”

Among the categories in which Baja California is nominated are

  • Best scenic roads (Ensenada)
  • Best wine route in Valle de Guadalupe
  • Best contemporary gastronomy event Baja Culinary Fest in Tijuana,
  • Best stargazing destination
  • Best regional gastronomy.
