Teenager reported missing in SMA is found alive and well in Chiapas

With the information collected by the Public Ministry Agent, it was possible to establish that the victim had been in a town in the country of Guatemala, called Mazatenango and Cuyotenango.

A teenager from the municipality of San Miguel de Allende who was reported missing, was located after several days of searching. They found her in Chiapas, but she had previously been in Guatemala, she would have left her home in Guanajuato to work in the Central American country.

The Guanajuato Prosecutor’s Office activated the search protocols for missing persons and had the technological tools that make up the investigation scheme to locate a teenager identified as P.I.A.M.

The Public Ministry Agent of the Specialized Unit for the Investigation of Missing Persons received a complaint for the failure to locate the 16-year-old teenager.

The last thing he heard about her was that she had gone to her workplace and did not return. From that moment on, the investigation protocol was activated, deploying a series of actions that led to establishing her location.

With the information collected by the Public Ministry Agent, it was possible to establish that the victim had been in a town in the country of Guatemala, called Mazatenango and Cuyotenango, and subsequently crossed the Suchiate River to reach the city of Tapachula in the Mexican State of Chiapas. , which was confirmed through the geolocation of telephone numbers that were obtained with judicial authorization.

Immediately, contact was established with the authorities of that state, who located her and safeguarded her integrity, thanks to the information provided by the Guanajuato Prosecutor’s Office.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office Agent and Criminal Investigation Agents moved to the state of Chiapas and after assessing the adolescent’s health status, they brought her back to the state of Guanajuato to reintegrate her into her family. At all times the family was aware of the progress. and the actions implemented by the Guanajuato Prosecutor’s Office.
