The authorities detained Ángel as the alleged perpetrator of the crime of identity theft, but he was later released because there were no elements against him.

The events occurred on Wednesday, June 5, when elements of the Auxiliary Police (PA) of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City detained a student who was trying to take another’s exam in Coyoacán.

Officers were carrying out security and surveillance work near the UNAM when they were requested by a woman who identified herself as being in charge of the legal area of Ciudad Universitaria.

He argued that Ángel “N” showed up to one of the classrooms to take an exam and showed several IDs that belonged to another student, possibly to take the test in his name.

When searching, the uniformed officers found identification in the name of another person, which did not correspond to his physiognomic features.

Ángel “N”’s intentions were discovered by a teacher from the Faculty of Engineering, who would administer an exam for Statistics.
