Beryl left more than 200 thousand without electricity: CFE prepares for the emergency

The Federal Electricity Commission confirmed that the passage of the then Hurricane Beryl left 203,963 users in Yucatán and Quintana Roo without electricity.

The CFE is in coordination with the Civil Protection authorities to determine when there is no risk for citizens or CFE personnel, and thus undertake restoration work.

Two thousand 330 electrical workers, 372 cranes, 624 vehicles, 68 emergency plants, 6 all-terrain vehicles, 39 mobile communication equipment and 5 helicopters have been deployed to respond to the emergency.
