The 69th “Feria de la Candelaria” is ready and will take place in San Miguel’s Zeferino Gutiérrez Park.
With the vision to preserve and strengthen San Miguel traditions, this year the fair will have greater accessibility for San Miguel residents, filling Zeferino Gutiérrez Park (in front of Glorieta San Luis Rey) with color and life from January 31 to February 16.
Exalting the essence of San Miguel, the Department of Environment and Sustainability has everything ready for the development of the 69th edition of the “Feria de la Candelaria”, with the participation of local and foreign nurserymen, where an artistic cultural program is also integrated for the enjoyment of families.
“You are cordially welcome to Zeferino Gutiérrez Park, to the 69th of the Feria de la Candelaria. There will be many cultural events, educational activities, and workshops for children. The park is beautifully illuminated. You can walk, there are walkways where you can enjoy different types of plants and different types of stands, there are accesses for people with disabilities, green areas, there is the lake, and there will also be exhibitors from all over the Mexican Republic with different types of plants,” said Ernesto Berra, head of the municipal department.
“Public transportation arrives exactly at the park gate. Accessibility and parking areas are available, and the park and its surroundings will be monitored by police officers to guarantee everyone’s security,” added Berra López.
With a wide schedule from 9 AM to 9 PM, San Miguel residents and visitors will enjoy the exhibition and sale of seeds, flowers, plants, fruit trees, as well as accessories to decorate homes and gardens; in addition, they will delight the palate in the food area and musical presentations, stage performances and environmental education workshops. All this in a clean and safe space.

The Municipality, proud of its roots, promotes the popular traditions that give identity to the Heritage City, in addition to generating spaces that strengthen family integration and favor the economy of the San Miguel residents.
