In SMA, feminist collectives have called for a march on March 8th, at 5pm, which will begin at the emblematic Kiosko del Parque Benito Juárez.

This initiative not only seeks to pay tribute to the women who have fought and continue to fight, but also to raise their voices for those who are no longer here and to demand a safe and respectful space for all.

The 8M march will follow a route that will begin at Parque Benito Juárez. Attendees will take Nemesio Diez Street, turn onto Zacateros and Hernandez Macías, continue towards Insurgentes Street and then towards Juárez Street, ending at Portal Allende.

March 8th not only represents an act of resistance and memory, but also raises awareness in the community about the problems that women face daily in San Miguel de Allende and throughout Mexico.
