A total of forty national wineries along with more than 200 wine labels will be present in the city of Guanajuato on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd, December, featuring the best and latest wine products specially elaborated for wine “aficionados” and distributors. The attendance will have the opportunity to experience the most amazing aromas, textures and flavors as part of the Fourth edition of Mexican Wine Summit (Cuarta Cumbre del Vino Mexicano).
“Catar Mexico” is the most important cultural wine event in the country, and it aims to take the attendee in a journey through the fantastic world of wine, featuring cultural, academic and artistic activities in one of the most prestigious venues, the colonnial jewel, Guanajuato, Gto.
This festival is organized by the initiative of the Council for the Culture of Wine’s Promotion A. C. (Consejo para el Fomento de la Cultura del Vino A.C), with the support of the Agricultural Markets Development and Commercialization Agency (ASERCA – Agencia de Servicios a la Comercialización y Desarrollo de Mercados Agropecuarios), which belong to the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development and Food (SAGARPA) and the Guanajuato’s state government.
With an excellent precedent of success during its previous editions, “Catar Mexico” has gained an important prestige as a cultural wine summit, which merges the best of wine, artistic, cultural and tourist values into a one-of-a-kind act, with the goal of becoming one of the stronger institutional events in the near future.
The Fourth Edition of the Mexican Wine Summit “Catar Mexico” will involve its visitors in a two-day life experience that features a series of activities that will position Guanajuato on the top of the national enotouristic agenda.
This festival’s commercial exhibition will feature more than 40 national wineries, expert sommeliers, winemakers and producers, who will exhibit over 200 labels, and present several academic activities, such as book presentations, guided tours, wine tastings and workshops, among others.
“The 4th Mexican Wine Summit of Catar Mexico” will take place on a circuit right on the main avenues of downtown Guanajuato, including Manuel Doblado and Sopeña streets, where visitors will be able to walk along 330 yards of stands and taste a whole gamma of the best wines produced all over the country.
Wine producers from Aguascalientes, Baja California, Coahuila, Guanajuato, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Chihuahua and Zacatecas, will be present in this greaat event.
