The Harley-Davidson Rally ‘Bikerland 2016‘ was held from the 17th to the 20th of November in the municipalities of Corregidora, El Marqués, Colón, Ezequiel Montes and Querétato, where a great number of “bikers” from different parts of Mexico (and even some from the U.S.) invaded the highways and cruised across the majestic landscape and sceneries of this beautiful state.
A total of 2,000 attendees participated in several activities during the four days of the rally.
In the state capital, the rally route included the Old Railway Station, “Cerro de las Campanas” and the “Panteón de los Queretanos Ilustres”, all of them representative historical and cultural sites of Querétaro, where mile-long lines of bikers showed up.
Among the activities, a night tour took place on some of the main streets and avenues of Santiago de Querétaro, gathering around 1,000 motorcycles that roared their engines in the Historic downtown of the state capital.
Other highlighted sites visited by the “Harley Davidson fans” were: the esplanade of the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Soriano in the municipality of Colón; “la Peña de Bernal” in the municipality of Ezequiel Montes, as well as the Main Square of “El Pueblito” in the Querétaro suburbs of Corregidora.
According to Oscar Peralta Casares, Harley-Davidson Querétaro CEO, the collaboration with Tourism and Public Safety authorities from different municipalities allowed the participants to enjoy the ride, the landscape, the gastronomy and the culture in a entertaining family oriented atmosphere, full of Mexican history.
Absolutely no negative incidents were registered whatsoever, a situation that the organizing committee announced with pride, inviting all bikers to return to Querétaro again next year.
“The huge success of this great event was thanks to the collaboration of the Federal, State and Municipal Authorities”, declared the Harley-Davidson Querétaro CEO, Oscar Peralta Casares.
