Leon’s cybercafé assault caught on video goes viral on social networks

A video portraying a robbery perpetrated in a “cybercafé” located at “Lomas de Medina” neighborhood in León, Guanajuato, went viral on social networks.

The crime took place in the evening of Sunday December 11, at the premises located on the corner of “Fresno” and  “Lomas de las Bugambilias” streets.

The 2-minute video was taped by three different cameras. It shows a motorcycle arriving on the scene with two subjects, one of them enters the cybercafé.

Another camera shows the moment the criminal steps into the “cybercafé”, pulls out a gun, tells a client to lie on the floor and demands money from the business manager.

The third camera shows the same scene, but this time the assailant is seen from behind.

The Public Security Department did not mention the amount stolen, and there is it is unknown if the victims have already filed a complaint before the Public Ministry.

The video was posted on Adolfo Enriquez Vanderkam’s Facebook account.
