The Tourism Council is a decentralized office, part of the local government and formed by members of City Hall, as well as representatives from the Hotel and Motel Association, Canica, Guides and Transport Services, the Association for Event and Venue Organizers, Real Estate Association (AMPI), resorts and spas.
Working together to make San Miguel de Allende stand out as a Premium, sustainable and competitive destination in order to increase tourist activity, hotel occupancy, customer flows and shoppers for the suppliers of tourist services, translating all towards making full use of the destination’s possibilities.
Business Tourism
The main objective is to develop strategies for publicity campaigns which will attract large events. This is to be done through introduction and familiarization trips offered to private companies, laboratories, associations, government departments and agencies, among others.
Facilitating support for several recreational activities for participants, as well as aiding in the necessary bureaucratic and administrative processes with authorities.
Offering tools for promotion such as guides, brochures, videos, etc.
Orientation regarding the structure of activities for companions, pre- and post- convention activities.
