Two weeks ago, an American citizen living in SMA was extradited back to the US from Mexico after being indicted in connection with alleged international bribery.
Malcolm Harris, a New York fashion designer, was arrested by officials in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato. The operation was a joint effort between the Mexican Attorney General’s office and US federal agents.
Mr. Harris, 52, was arrested along with his husband in this popular tourist Mexican town. He is known for his New York fashion as well as his televised Bravo TV Network wedding in 2012. He is also a frequent independent contributor to the Huffington Post.

Harris has been linked to famous Hollywood friends such as Madonna and Angelina Jolie.
The couple owned a hotel in San Miguel de Allende. They were both arrested on Thursday January 12, after Mr. Harris was indicted in a US court that week in connection with an alleged international bribery scheme.
