They merged their voices by more than an hour in front of the San Miguel Archangel temple, chanting the following slogans: “Viva Mexico !, Viva Mexico !, Mexico!”, “No more walls”, and carried signs expressing their outrage, with phrases written in English and Spanish, such as: “Say No to Fascism,” “Standing together, our light shines.”

The protesters also showed an image of a “wastebasket” with the caption “Trump trash” and another drawing of a bridge with a “yes” and the image of a wall with a tack.

It should be noted that according to data from SMA municipal administration, published by “El Universal” Mexican newspaper, 12,000 foreigners live in this city.

Several members of the San Miguel de Allende expat community publicly thanked the Mexican people in that city, for their hospitality.
