THE STATE’S SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE FUND was created with the purpose of allowing the local residents to review, monitor and follow up the development of public works in their rural communities, as well as reporting any irregularities in the course of these.

THE FUND seeks to encourage families in poverty to improve their development capacities through access to a varied, sufficient and nutritious nourishment program, that contributes to the breakdown of the intergenerational cycle of poverty and malnutrition.

The target population of this program are families living in areas of extreme poverty and marginalization with infrastructure deficiencies such as lack of running water, drainage network and electricity.
