Increase in the rate of public transport in Dolores Hidalgo is approved
The increase of urban and suburban public transportation fee was approved by 20% in the city of Dolores Hidalgo.
The good news is that the preferential rate that applies for people with disabilities, senior citizens and students will continue at $3.50 pesos.
This measure is expected to take effect within one month, after it is published in the Official Gazette of the Government of the State of Guanajuato (Diario Oficial del Estado de Guanajuato).
With 10 votes in favor and two against, the increase in collective transportation fee was approved and in this way the cost in urban transport will increase from 5 to 7 pesos, and for the rural communities will increase from 2 to 6 pesos depending on the mileage.
