Two men died and one more was injured, after being attacked by a group of subjects who stripped them of their belongings in San Miguel de Allende.
The Attorney General’s Office of the State (PGJE) reported that on Monday November 6, the victims were traveling by car on Federal Highway 57, when they were intercepted by their attackers, who shot them at point blank range to steal their belongings.
The vicitms were then taken to a rural road that leads to the Doña Juana community, where they were abandoned.
The dead body of Cristián “N” was taken to the coroner office as he was reported dead; while the two other injured were transferred to a near-by hospital, where doctors officially announced the death of Juan “N”, who arrived to the clinic in critical condition. However, the third victim is reported stable.
The case is already under investigation by the Specialized Homicide Unit, but no arrests have been made so far in relation to this crime.
