LEÓN, Gto.- With an investment of 35 million dollars the construction works of the new PARQUESUR Industrial kicked off near the city of León, which will develop 136 modular lots in a surface of 148 hectares, just during the first stage.
Juan Arturo Torres Landa, one of the investors, said that this project will generate around 5,000 direct jobs.
The park will feature a pluvial water collector, electrical substation, and led lighting, among other high-end technological elements.
This new project, located in the south of the city, seeks to open new spaces to the industrial activity in León.
The head of the Secretariat of Sustainable Economic Development (SDES), Guillermo Romero Pacheco, participated in the break ground ceremoy that marks the start-up of construction works at the site, with a total area of 292 hectares.
The secretary acknowledged the commitment of entrepreneurs in Guanajuato to invest on projects that trigger the local economy and contribute to the commercial, industrial and economic development of the state of Guanajuato.
