The company Elastomix just inaugurated its plant in the Castro del Río Industrial Park, with an approximate investment of 17.1 million dollars and which promises to generate 70 jobs, reported the Undersecretary of Attention to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MIPyMEs) of the Secretariat of Sustainable Economic Development (SDES), Froylán Salas Navarro.
Elastomix is a supplying company for the automotive industry in the manufacture of Carbon Masterbatch of Rubber.
During the event, it was explained that the Carbon Masterbatch of Rubber is composed of the mixture of carbon, reinforcements and additives in raw rubber – synthetic and / or natural, this is an intermediate product that has the primary processing necessary for the manufacture of products of molded rubber.
Besides, this material is light, moldable, thermal and easy to paint; features that are ideal for the manufacture of auto parts such as fascias, fenders and spoilers among others.
Elastomix clients include companies such as Kinugawa Mexico, Kurashiki Kako Mexicana, Molten Automotive of Mexico, Nishikawa Gomu, Toyoda Gosei, among others; having as suppliers: JSR Trading, S.K Materials Mexicana and Shiraishi Calcium Kaisha.
