CEMEX operations in France

CDMX.- (Notimex) – CEMEX, one of the largest cement companies in the world, said that it will support the reconstruction of the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris, after the devastating fire it suffered more than a week ago. In France, CEMEX will match donations made by its employees to “Fondation du patrimoine” a private organization dedicated to saving France’s cultural and natural heritage.

In addition, the firm will offer some of its logistic products and services, as well as availability in its Research and Development centers, located in Biel and Paris, and assistance with material specifications and blending designs.

Other companies and organizations that have committed to support the restoration of the site are Ubisoft, the International Olympic Committee, the LVMH group (to which the fashion firm Louis Vuitton belongs to) Disney and Apple amongst others.
