“With the inauguration of the Control, Communications and Computing
Command Center -C-4- and the Security Intelligence Center of San Miguel de Allende, local authorities are strengthening the peace and security of the families”, assured the Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez.
“We will not take a step back on the issue of security, it is a priority for the State Administration, in Guanajuato the rule of law is respected,” the governor said.
He announced that by the end of 2019, the State will provide the City of San Miguel de Allende with the equipment of 136 surveillance cameras, in addition to the 112 already installed in the municipality.
The govenor stressed that with the operation of the C-4 and the Security Intelligence Center of San Miguel de Allende, which had an investment of more than 30 million pesos (1.5 million USD), the surveillance of the San Miguel de Allende municipality has been signficantly strengthened,
The C-4 Command Center will be the apex of coordination tasks between the three levels of government.
This infrastructure is integrated into the Comprehensive State Security Strategy, which main objective is to build public security from the bottom up.
In addition, it is aligned with the commitment to strengthen the municipalities, in the dignification of public security corps. The the governor highlighted the creation of two new divisions of the state security forces, which are the Tourist Police and the Rural Police.
The Tourist Police features proximity and preventive attention for the people of SMA. This Ploice Force will be in charge of the security in the two Cities Cultural Patrimony of the Humanity, Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende; as well as, in the Magical Towns of Guanajuato.
While the State Rural Police will be in charge of the security of the municipalities safeguarding the population from issues such as rustling and theft of agricultural equipment.
“With facts and actions like these, we are strengthening our municipalities in terms of security, our congratulations to the municipality of San Miguel de Allende, for everything they are doing for the progress of this beautiful region,” the governor added,
Finally, governor Diego Sinhue Rodríguez concluded: “We all know that the main demand of citizens is security and that is also our priority. Since the beginning of our administration we set ourselves the objective of returning security and social peace to the people of Guanajuato”.
