3 Reasons To Vacation In Thailand

Thailand has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. People from all over the globe flock there around the year. There is no cold season, and even during the monsoon you can have a great vacation.

But you might be wondering if it’s really worth making the trip so far across the world. There are closer island paradises after all – you could stay in the country for an amazing beach trip.

Here are 3 reasons Thailand really is worth the effort.

The Culture

As a huge tourist destination, it offers plenty of accommodation for any budget. As one of the cheaper countries in the world, you don’t have to come with much to live in luxury with plenty of beautiful villas available to rent throughout the country.

However, the culture of the country itself will give you a huge shock. I mean that in the best way possible. Beach vacations are great, but you also want to have a bit of an adventure. In a country as unique as Thailand, you will get exactly that. Every street you walk down in Phuket, for example, will be its own experience. From hawkers offering massages to street food that smells like nothing you’ve ever eaten, it will engage every sense.

At night, the island becomes unlike anything you could imagine. Visit Phuket’s Bangla Road for one of the most chaotic, surprising nights of your life. You may be put off by the hawkers trying to convince you to come to “sexy ping pong shows,” but there is much more for you to enjoy.

There are drag shows every hour, bars and clubs offering the cheapest beer you’ve ever had, and magicians holding court in the middle of it all. You’ll go to Thailand for the beaches, but you’ll come back for the culture.

Natural Diversity

When you get to Thailand, you expect to see a lot of stunning beaches lined with palm trees. However, there is so much more natural diversity to the country. You’ll find mountainous rainforests through which you can trek, coconut groves, mangroves, and more. You’ll see islands covered in greenery, and experience tiny islets occupied entirely by monkeys.

Of course, you’re going to spend much of your time in the water, which is ideal considering the sea life below the surface. With simple snorkeling gear, you’ll get a glimpse of a truly remarkable world.

Relax in Luxury

Thailand is incredibly cheap. The Thai Baht isn’t the weakest currency in the world, but your pesos will still give you the advantage. More importantly, the cost of living there is cheap. Everything you do will cost less than almost anywhere else. While we’re used to paying low prices (comparatively), many vacation destinations require a massive share of disposable income.

In Thailand, you can relax in comfort, get around easily with a personal driver, and eat like a king or queen. You will spend your time relaxing in the best environment possible. It gives you the opportunity to turn off completely and forget about your stresses.

Thailand is a great vacation destination. I love it, and highly recommend it to everyone I meet.
