The Town Hall Session in SMA approved the guidelines for the operation and organization of weddings, social events, and conventions.

The secretary of the City Council, Gonzalo González, explained that now that these protocols have been approved, the reopening for the realization and reactivation of events, such as weddings in the city, could take place by the end of August.

Gonzalo said: “We have already been working for about a month with all the wedding organizers, to carry out these protocols that are already reviewed by SECTUR and by the Ministry of Health, we are the first municipality to propose protocols for holding these type of events. We are thinking about starting on August 27, and we want to reactivate this sector little by little. “

Regarding the occupancy of guests in the venues, this will be determined depending on its capacity, although in the first instance each event is expected to start with an occupancy of between 50 and maximum 100 people.
