San Miguel de Allende .- On April 5th, Civil Protection of SMA shut down the bar ‘La Chula’ for exceeding the number of people allowed and for not observing sanitary measures.

Minutes before 10:00 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received the report indicating an agglomeration of people in the property located on Umarán street. Upon arriving at the scene, the Civil Protection agents corroborated the facts.

During the inspection, they detected the overcrowding with more than 100 people carrying out club activities without respecting the allowed capacity, the healthy distance between the groups of attendees or the provisional permit to work as a restaurant.

For this reason, activities were suspended and those in charge were informed about their eviction and closure of the place.
